Excelente lugar para disfrutar y aprender Standup y natación. Arturo es un genio para enseñarte como andar con el stanUp y Anibal Rujano otro genio para enseñarte a nadar! ambos profes una paciencia infinita y muy buena onda. Además el lugar es muy bonito para pasar el día. Tiene una linda piscina y bar para pasar el rato.

Anibal es un Profesor de natación y Guardavidas profesional EXCEPCIONAL!! Yo no tomaba clase desde mis 6 años. Su capacidad de diagnostico precisión comunicación y conexión con las personas hace que uno haga un aprendizaje rápido y consciente dando saltos cuantitativos. Si se quiere nadar en el mar o simplemente aprender a nadar mas de 20 metros sin cansarse y disfrutarlo. recomiendo tomar clases con Anibal🏊‍♀️ Arturo tiene una enseñanza y equipos de Stand up Paddle que te permite en una o dos clases ya disfrutar de mar abierto en Amador. Un profesor 100 puntos!!!!

Love this place! We first met Arturo a few years ago through the recommendation of a friend. He's helped us out in so many ways! Most recently, we purchased two SUPs, and he's provided great support and guidance. Would highly recommend connecting with Arturo about SUP classes, rentals, or purchases in Panama City on Amador Causeway. The location is also just lovely and a great hangout spot with a pool and convenient beach access.

Arturo and Adolfo are super helpful and knowledgeable regarding anything stand up paddle. We purchased a new paddle board and some additional goodies. They even let my wife test a few boards with our dog just to make sure everyone is happy. Highly recommend!

I scheduled a last minute early morning trip. The team at StandUp Panama made it work even though my time was limited and the weather tried to stop us. Lamentable el servicio al cliente. Cuando alguien contrata un servicio y tiene que estar pidiendo por favor que lo atiendan es que algo no funciona bien. Deberian cerrar la pagina web para no aceptar clientes online y luego dejarlos varados.

I had been wanting to do SUP as a recreational sport for several years, and finally, during pandemic, I set some time aside to experience it through StandUp in Amador. First of all the location is very convenient when driving from anywhere in the city and the drive on the causeway is always pleasant. I booked a class for a friend and myself, Arturo was our instructor, super friendly, knowledgable and experienced in the sport and he was really thorough in explaining everything a beginner needs: safety, body position, paddling dynamics--- it was also interesting to learn about the different types of boards that are on the market... materials, how much they weigh, etc.
Once you get in the water and begin paddling, you immediately feel very balanced- the student boards are wide and solid... super safe for a first time paddler of any age.
Arturo is next to you at all times as he gives pointers, tips and suggests adjustments for proper stance, balancing and paddle positioning. He also points out the different routes and limits to be respected once you are out on the waterway. Experience Beautiful views of the Bridge of the Americas, the many Islands that are close to mainland, the cityscape and the ships waiting to cross the canal.
The class and the experience were wonderful, and both my friend and I ended up returning for a follow up fun paddle. I personally plan to continue using this SUP operator for their great services, convenience and location.

 Primero que todo, son súper amables y siempre actúan en función de los remadores. Es muy cómodo, se puede remar siempre porque los cambios de marea no afectan considerablemente y además está muy cerca.

It was my first time trying SUP and I took a beginner class with my cousin and my nieces. Very happy with Arturo, our instructor. His English was great, he did a thorough explanation on safety and technique, very patient with my nieces and he was just very nice and helpful overal. We had a great time so hopefully we will come back sooner than later. Highly recommended!

First time doing paddle boarding. Instructions were very clear and extremely helpful at the time of getting to actually do paddle boarding. My sister and I had a blast. We enjoyed the experience so much I returned the next day to do more and would gladly participate on a regular basis.

This place has it all, paddleboard rentals, guided paddle tours, SUP classes, retail store and easy beach access to drop, paddle and go! You can paddle out to El Peñon de San Jose for a espectacular view of the large rock/Peñon and mesmerizing view of of Panama City skyline. Or you can paddle the waters of the Panama Canal right by the Bridge of the Americas with a beautiful view of Amador Causeway and the Biodiversity Museum, all in one day. The paddle dat tour to to Lago Alajuela WOW, such beautiful scenery. If you travel to Panama and love paddle adventures this is the place is a must paddle experience!

We never did stand up paddling before and went to Arturo's place to learn. He's turned out to be a great teacher. He first explained everything in-depth, and then gave us boards and took us out into the marina and beyond, always watching and making suggestions. The school is reasonably priced and has a nice restaurant attached, so you can enjoy food and drinks afterwards. I can only recommend the place.

SUP is so addicted you just want to go back everyday! I felt like home in StandUP Panama, the owner Arturo is a suepr nice dude and teacher, made us feel very welcome as first timers. Not hard at all when you take the classes and understand the concept, I thought I would never be able to STAND on the Board for the first time and I did!! After a good Session we went to the pool in the location and got few beers!! WHAT A KEWL PLACE, going back every weekend ! Thanks STANDUP PANAMA.

MUST STOP SUP adventure! I travelled to Panama from the USA to lead a SUP Yoga retreat and I made sure to stop in and see the wonderful team at Stand Up Panama. They were so helpful in setting me up with a board rental. It was a beautiful 12.6’ Starboard with special QuickBlade paddle! I was so impressed by their knowledge and warm welcome. The tour was out into the Canal with a group of 10+! We had so much fun and everyone was super cool! I will definitely be back very soon!
