Portobello Day Trip
For this adventure and cultural experience, we will pick you up at your hotel and drive for 45 minutes to an hour on the Panama-Colon Highway until we reach Sabanitas, a small town in the Colon province. After another 45 minutes we will arrive to Portobello, were we will begin our pirate-like ride to Playa Huerta, paddling through clear waters, you will be able to see coral reefs, tropical marine life, and enjoy the beauty of this natural treasure. At our return we will stop for lunch at La Torre Restaurant were you will enjoy an original afrocaribbean meal (not included).

Portobelo is a port city in Colón Province, Panama with a population of 4,559 as of 2010. Located on the northern part of the Isthmus of Panama, it has a deep natural harbor and served as a center for silver exporting. In 1980 UNESCO designated the ruins of the Spanish colonial fortifications, along with nearby Fort San Lorenzo, as a World Heritage Site, named Fortifications on the Caribbean Side of Panama: Portobelo-San Lorenzo.
